Councilor Pierfrancesco Maran and Councilor Marco Granelli will be present.

OUTCOME: 

In the presence of the Councilor for Urban Planning, the coordinator of the Technical Table and a professor from Bocconi University, discussed the economic issues relating to the recovery of the railway yards. The result was a debate which saw the participation of the Councillors, the Councillor, some professionals who collaborated on the Technical Roundtable and ordinary citizens.

Council Commission International Affairs - Post Expo - European Policies (Chaired by Councilor Pacente Carmine)
Agenda: Update on E.M.A. (European Medicines Agency).
The lawyer will be present at the hearing. Mario Vanni, head of the Mayor's Cabinet.

OUTCOME: 

The Mayor's Chief of Staff updated the Commission on the progress of the dossier for Milan's candidacy to host the European Medicines Agency, pointing out that the deadline for submitting applications will expire on 31 July. The European Council will soon approve the guidelines for the evaluations. It therefore provided a response to some requests for information formulated by the Councilors on the hypothetical new headquarters of E.M.A., on the proposed related activities, on the strengths of the city of Milan and on the commitments undertaken at government level.

Joint Council Commission Home, Public Works, ERP and Social Policies and Health Services, Volunteering (Chaired by Councilors D'Amico Simonetta and Vasile Angelica)
Agenda:  Presentation of the elderly fall prevention project and the pilot project to support the elderly in Erp housing in Via Solari 40.
At the hearing: Councilor Gabriele Rabaiotti and Doctor Faustino Boioli President of the Association of Italian Volunteer Doctors Onlus. 
There will also be:

  • Doctor Maria Assunta De Peppo President of the Sala Clelia and Sala Elsa Onlus Foundation 
  • Doctor Gianfranco Mozzali of the Onlus Volunteer Doctors Association.

OUTCOME:

The Housing Councilor and the President of the Association of Italian Volunteer Doctors Onlus illustrated the "prevention of falls for the elderly" project, proposed by the Sala Clelia and Sala Elsa Foundation and the Association of Italian Volunteer Doctors, clarifying that 10 public residential buildings will be equipped with aids to improve and make the lives of the elderly tenants who live there safer and safer.
The Councilor also explained that, to optimize time, the municipal administration has decided to sponsor the initiative, allowing the Sala Clelia and Sala Elsa Foundation to liaise directly with the tenant concerned and therefore proceed with the creation of the aforementioned interventions.
A debate followed in which the Councilors intervened to express their appreciation

Joint Council Commission Security and Social Cohesion – Local Police and Anti-Mafia (Chaired by Councilors Pantaleo Rosario and David Gentili) 
Agenda: Drug trafficking in Milan: results of enforcement actions, presence of criminal organizations, including mafia-type ones, in the Milanese and Lombard markets.

OUTCOME: 

The Director of the Anti-Drug Section of the Milan Police Headquarters explains to the Commissioners the situation of the problem relating to drug trafficking in Milan, providing information and data on the interventions carried out by the State Police, both in terms of repression and prevention.
The Councilors present some requests for clarification or clarification on the critical issues present in the city, linked to the phenomenon of drug use, to which the Deputy Commissioner, together with his collaborators, provides timely answers.

Council Commission Social Policies and Health Services - Volunteering (Chaired by Councilor Vasile Angelica) 
Agenda: The plan for sociality and against loneliness and the offer of services for the elderly during the summer.

OUTCOME: 

Councilor Majorino, assisted by the Director of the Home Care and Health Culture Area, Dr. Daria Maistri, illustrated to those present the "Plan for Sociality against Loneliness 2017". During the presentation, the large number of initiatives implemented by the Municipality, the quality of the individual initiatives, the fundamental contribution of the city's voluntary associations and the renewed role of social guardians emerged.

Commission Special Integrated Family Policy Plan (Chaired by Councilor Osculti Roberta) 
Agenda: Hearing by Prof. Emmanuele Massagli of Adapt who will illustrate the relationship between family and work and present the Italian regulatory framework and the agreements to encourage family-work conciliation.

OUTCOME: 

An expert from Adapt, the Work Study Centre, illustrated the national regulatory framework that regulates the conciliation between professional and private life as well as some second level contractual agreements, implemented in private companies, where corporate welfare measures have been introduced. As part of the subsequent debate, the proposal emerged to induce the Municipality of Milan to activate promotional campaigns to support the provision of support services for employees of small and micro businesses as well as evaluating the possibility of introducing welfare measures company in favor of municipal employees and those of investee companies.

Joint Council Commission Participation, Popular Initiative, Open Data and Innovation, Transparency, Digital Agenda, Civil Status (Chaired by Councilors Moratti Milly and Arienta Alice)
Agenda: Participatory Budgeting.
The Councilor for Participation, Citizenship and Open Data, Dr. Lorenzo Lipparini, will be present.

OUTCOME: 

In the presence of the Councillor, the new edition of the Notice for the 2017 Participatory Budget was presented which provides for a new mechanism for involving citizens through which the people of Milan will be able to vote for the projects presented, which in their opinion are deemed most useful and interesting. The 4 phases of the participatory process were illustrated, which include the initial proposition of an idea in the form of a project to be shared and promoted, then moving on to the development of this idea with the Municipality's technicians, then proceeding to the voting and finally monitoring the progress of the work at the same time as cost control. A debate followed in which the councilors present formulated some observations and requested clarifications to which the Councilor provided precise answers.

Agenda: inspection of the Sogemi market areas. The President Dr. will be present. Cesare Ferrero

OUTCOME: 

The councilors went to the market areas of Sogemi, where they visited the four markets (fruit and vegetables, flowers, meat and fish). They went to the offices where the Sogemi management illustrated the problems present especially in the fruit and vegetable market area and announced the presentation of a project that would resolve the situation and could make the structure attractive for new wholesalers. The councilors asked some questions on the topic to which the President of Sogemi responded exhaustively. The President of the Commission therefore invited the Sogemi Management to present the project to the Commission shortly in detail.

OUTCOME: The Budget Councilor gave specifications relating to the change in the Financial Budget, Planning 2017-2019; the Councilors asked questions on the merits to which exhaustive answers were given. At the end, the President considered the relevant Resolution no. 40 to be discussed.
