SANCTION PROCEDURES AREA

• Management of sanctioning procedures relating to the Highway Code and violations of laws
• Management of sanctioning procedures relating to regulations, with the exception of those referring to the Advertising Regulation and those referring to the art. 20 letter "a" of the Regulation for the application of the fee for the occupation of public spaces and areas
• Management of litigation (administrative appeals and legal representation before the Justice of the Peace) regarding administrative sanctions
• Management of minutes notifications
• Management of activities related to the issuing of tax bills
• Verification and management of violations detected through cameras

TERRITORY PRESIDENTIAL AREA

• Supervision and coordination of services relating to events organized in the area, in conjunction with the areas involved
• Supervision and control of the territory in relation to the correct application of the legislation and the occurrence of critical events, road works, environment, ecology, construction, public transport, local problems and events, with the operational support of the Operational Unit and the Unit Investigations and Prevention Specialist, also upon indication of the Departments concerned
• Supervision in the management of:
- Judicial Police activities
- traffic and intersection management services
- school service
- activities connected to road accidents
- interventions to prevent and verify infringements of the Highway Code and Municipal Regulations
- procedures for issuing and renewing parking permits for particular categories
- surveillance activities in the territory
• Planning of coordinated interventions by the neighborhood police in synergy with the Volunteer Ecological Guards (GEV) and the Inspectors-Inspectors (former parking assistants)
• Collaboration with the Central Information Unit for the operational management of reports/complaints and for updating the risk map 
• Neighborhood watch project coordination
• Support, at a technical and operational level, to the Commander and the chief commissioners responsible for the territorial commands regarding the service of the neighborhood police
• Processing and analysis of data relating to the operational activities of the Neighborhood Police, transmitted by the Decentralized Commands
• Participation in the planning of the training of the Neighborhood Police, in connection with and in support of the Corps School
• Design and management of the website dedicated to the Neighborhood Police
• Testing of new technologies to support the activities of the neighborhood police
• Management of relationship activities with the public and with the Municipalities, Bodies, Institutions, Associations, etc., present in the area
• Coordination of the activities of the Traffic/Parking Assistants in synergy with Atm 
• Supervision and coordination of operational and administrative activities relating to the procedures for removal, disposal, disposal of confiscated and uncollected vehicles, return of removed vehicles, as well as those relating to the recovery of expenses incurred by the Administration
• Operational and administrative management of the night-time investigation service for infringements of the Highway Code in aid of the AMSA (night-time street cleaning service called MILANO-PULITA)
• Management of SIVES procedures (Seized Vehicles Information System)
• Supervision and control of traffic police activity, emergency response, control, prevention and repression of infringements relating to taxi and car rental activities with drivers, road information services
• Participation in competition with the decentralized commands in surveillance activities in city parks, outside schools and in the entire city area, with the aim of preventing and repressing widespread crime phenomena, also through the use of dog units
• Management of speed detection equipment and technological instruments in general (rangefinders, breathalyzers, digital machines, etc.)
• Scientific police investigations on vehicles and artefacts subject to criminal seizure (Scientific Investigations)
• Planning and management of dog units in order to carry out prevention and control interventions (fighting drugs) in synergy with the other Local Police Units (Dog Unit)
• Cooperation with the corps school in relation to the preparation of manuals for the updating and theoretical-practical training of personnel
• Management of the reports drawn up by the Volunteer Ecological Guards (GEV)

INTEGRATED SAFETY AND CIVIL PROTECTION AREA

• Planning and management of intervention plans coordinated with the activity of the Local Police for the safety of citizens, measures for the safety of traders, ...)
• Management and updating of the map of the city's risk areas
• Planning and implementation of initiatives to ensure adequate forms of control and prevention (local controls, safety in parks, ...), in coordination with the activity of the Local Police
• Management and coordination of administrative procedures regarding hygiene and safety in buildings and properties; issuing of ordinances (bringing flues up to standard, emissions of unpleasant odors from administration activities, restoration of suitable hygienic and sanitary conditions in accommodation and/or living spaces, ...); official execution of cleaning and clearing operations, in the event of non-compliance by the interested parties
• Management of activities relating to "Social and Criminal Mediation"
• Implementation of integrated safety policies
• Organization and participation in the sessions and inspection activities of the Municipal Supervision Commission for Public Entertainment Venues
• Management of liaison activities with the Provincial Commission for Supervision of Public Entertainment Venues
• Management of administrative activities related to the decisions of the Municipal Supervisory Commission and the Provincial Supervisory Commission and issuing of usability measures
• Preliminary examination of the projects and possible request for integration of the documentation presented, for the purpose of issuing the relevant authorization in the context of public entertainment venues
• Support to the Commander and the Mayor in activities related to the prevention and management of emergencies       
• Support in the drafting of the Municipal Civil Protection Plan and its updating
• Support in defining an emergency communication plan
• Management of Civil Protection interventions; support in the management of social emergencies, in collaboration with the Welfare and Health Department, and integrated emergency management
• Supervision of integration and study activities in the “Security” and “Safety” sectors
• Activation and management of the Municipal Operations Center (COC) for emergency events, acting as ROC (Municipal Operations Manager)
• Planning and management of activities and relevant interventions during major events in synergy with the Local Police**
• Drafting and management of specific area plans, in collaboration with the Operations Centre, Civil Protection, municipal and municipal technical organizational structures
• Participation in the activities of the PCA (Advanced Command Post) representing the Administration
• Analysis, drafting and updating of specific Emergency Plans in conjunction with the Central Operational Unit of the Local Police**
• Coordination of ROC (Municipal Operational Manager) activities for natural events such as snow/floods/thunderstorms of an exceptional nature and also of anthropic origin
• Implementation of the operations rooms in via Drago and management of the Urban Security Centre 
• Use and development of the ICS (Incident Command System) coordination system, also through specific exercises
• Management of relationships with the Public Security Authorities (Prefecture, Police Headquarters, Police, Carabinieri, ...), with the emergency structures (VV. FF., 112, Civil Protection, ...) for the drafting of specific memoranda of understanding for the matters under the jurisdiction of the Area and in synergy with the Local Police**
• Technical support to the Commander on Civil Defense matters, with particular reference to:
- risk analysis and related management, planning at prefectural level in the Provincial Civil Defense Committee
- technical-scientific definition of civil defense policies
- definition of a training plan for operations room operators with regard to the management of NBCR-type emergencies and related indices of suspicion
• Management, training and coordination of the activities of the Volunteer Ecological Guards
• Design, development and management of plans with Anci, Lombardy Region and Prefecture in the field of Civil Protection and Integrated Security
• Definition of locations and feasibility for new installations of video surveillance cameras for Urban Security
• Coordination of Civil Protection activities in conjunction with the Metropolitan City, Lombardy Region, National Civil Protection Department, Prefecture, ANCI, Fire Brigade and other institutional bodies
• Management and Coordination of the Mobile Column of Local Authorities in collaboration with the National ANCI and the National Civil Protection Department

GENERAL AFFAIRS AREA

• Analysis of building needs, goods and services for the Urban Security Directorate, regarding vehicles, clothing; preparation of technical specifications in the tender procedures carried out in these areas
• Management of the management's vehicle fleet (cars, motorbikes, bicycles, special and civil vehicles) and of the driver staff for special services
• Analysis of the needs for vehicles, clothing, equipment and radio equipment for the Management
• Management of goods and services regarding vehicles, clothing, equipment and radio equipment for the Local Police
• Preparation of technical specifications as part of the tender procedures carried out regarding vehicles, clothing, equipment and radio equipment of the Local Police
• Management in conjunction with the competent management of the radio communications system, within the IT management system of the Operations Center
• Assignment and maintenance of radio equipment
• Coordination and management of activities related to the completion of tenders for the acquisition of goods and services of the Directorate for amounts below the community threshold; preparation of the related technical-administrative measures
• Preparation of orders and contracts
• Liaison with the Single Central Procurement Directorate regarding tender procedures for the purchase of goods and services functional to the activities under the Directorate's responsibility 
• Support to the Commander for the preparation of the annual and multi-year budget, the PEG and coordination of the management's accounting activities
• Support to the Commander for the preparation of the DUP and the Objective Plan; coordination and management of monitoring and reporting of objectives, preparation of 2nd level programming
• Management of the budget and the FaRC of the Local Police and coordination of the FaRC of the other units of the Directorate
• Management of administrative investigative activities relating to the preparation of council resolutions, managerial decisions, agreements with other bodies, etc., for the management
• Planning and coordination of purchases for the Management, management of the administrative and accounting aspects preliminary to the completion of the Management's purchases
• Management of contracts relating to the Management, including the management of regulatory obligations of publications and communications to the praetorian notice board, to the Supervisory Authority of public contracts and to the Regional Observatory
• Management of invoice settlement procedures relating to contracts relating to the Management
• Administrative and accounting management of projects financed by other bodies (State, Region, etc.) and subsequent reporting
• Accounting management of professional assignments and consultancy and coordination of publication obligations

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AREA

• Personnel management and administration
• Coordination and supervision of the use of the new personnel management program by the Management Units 
• Recruitment of personnel for "extraordinary targeted" services and incentive projects
• Analysis, planning, monitoring of ordinary "daytime, Saturday and public holidays, evening and night" services of agents and officials
• Analysis of needs, assignment and monitoring of work performance performed under extraordinary conditions
• Analysis, preparation and management of reinforcement plans for decentralized commands for particular and recurring services (trade fairs, running races, concerts, various events, etc.) and for services at the Meazza stadium
• Support to the Commander in trade union activity and in the definition of organizational solutions relating to the structure of the Local Police
• Preparation of deductions to the Municipal Attorney's Office for the judicial phase in labor matters and in relation to the establishment of a civil party  
• Participation in the hearing before the Labor Judge even with a party role, with the assistance of the Municipal Attorney's Office 
• Management of the procedures for the release and revocation of the PS decree and management of the Armory
• Feasibility checks relating to new projects regarding the use of Local Police personnel, in collaboration with other bodies (Municipalities, Region, ASL, ATM, AMSA, Various Associations)
• Management of welfare initiatives also through the Charitable Fund
• Support to the Commander in managing relations with the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court, with the General Prosecutor's Office and with the Juvenile Court, regarding staff seconded and aggregated to the same Authorities, as well as administrative management and coordination of staff same 
• Management of the right of access to documents and civic access
• Management of the activities under the management's responsibility regarding privacy and the processing of personal data
• Implementation of the guidelines defined by the Technological and Digital Innovation Directorate for IT equipment
• Management in conjunction with the Technological and Digital Innovation Directorate of the mobile phone equipment used by the Local Police
