Agricity project

Agricity is a completed project which had the objective of analyzing the agricultural reality of Milan, highlighting aspects such as the landscape, the companies and the sales points.

It was created on a web platform as part of the “AgriCultura” project, thanks to the collaboration of:

  • City of Milan
    Agriculture Unit
     
  • Politecnico di Milano
    Department of Architecture, Construction Engineering and Built Environment (ABC), PaRID Laboratory

and to the co-financing of the Cariplo Foundation.

The website has collected images, publications and information on the Milanese agricultural sector, providing citizens and interested parties with a timely information and dissemination tool. It also gave space to many events relating to the rural context, especially in the context of Expo 2015 and, thereafter, until the conclusion of the project.
