Cemeteries: ceremonies and video recordings, how they work
To carry out ceremonies, demonstrations, television and cinematographic recordings within the city cemeteries or the Shrine of the Fallen, authorization must be requested.
However, the following are prohibited:
- photos and videos of cemetery staff activities;
- ceremonies or filming in contrast with the character and decorum of the place;
- photos or videos with the names of the deceased (unless authorized by the Funeral and Cemetery Services Area).
No ceremonies or events involving the simultaneous presence of more than ten people are permitted in the Shrine of the Fallen.
Rates for photographic shots and television or cinematographic recordings carried out for profit:
- €23,88 + VAT per day for photographs;
- €120,03 + VAT per day for television filming;
- €212,94 + VAT for half a day of film shooting.
They are free:
- footage taken from newspapers, periodicals or television;
- non-profit filming;
- the holding of ceremonies or events.
In the latter cases, authorization is required in any case.
