The Municipality communicates the annual or semi-annual programs and informs the citizens through public posting At:

• the municipal praetorian notice board;
• the entrances to the cemeteries;
• the registry delegations;
• municipal public spaces;
• the most crowded public structures;
• posters for the next exhumations they are available here

The posting has the value for all purposes of notification to the interested persons, in compliance with current regulations.

No communications are sent to relatives of deceased persons.
 

How to proceed:

1. the posters are put up for at least 90 consecutive days before starting exhumation operations
2. after the publication of the posters it is up to the people concerned check the calendar scheduled and make an appointment with the municipal offices to define the destination of the exhumed deceased people and organize the necessary operations, following the instructions provided on this page.

For training camp of plants, photos, objects and funeral signs placed on the tombs, it is sufficient to sign an application on plain paper which will be presented to the cemetery offices. In the application you must indicate which item you intend to collect. The collection must however take place by the entitled persons and on the days established in the published notice, available in the "documents relating to exhumations".

For the protection and recovery of the monument instead, specific authorization must be requested from the Municipality since the monuments in their entirety or in their non-decorative parts are not considered strictly personal memories. In the absence of such authorization, exhumation entails the destruction of the monument.

If family members or other people do not activate the procedures to give the exhumed deceased person a new destination, the Municipality keeps the bone remains in storage at the cemetery for a period of at least 30 days from the date of exhumation. 

If after this period the lack of interest persists, we proceed with the transfer to the common ossuary.

If, however, the body is undecomposed, it is re-interred in the "undecomposed field" of the same cemetery for a period of time. not less than two years, awaiting its complete mineralization.

The ordinary exhumation operations, the burial of undecomposed bodies and the deposit of ashes and bone remains are the responsibility of the relatives of the deceased or of those who take care of them.
