Nursery Schools and Spring Sections: payments

Payments, in a single or monthly installment, exclusively via pagoPA sent via e-mail.

Payment deadlines

You can pay the fees in a single payment for the entire year or, alternatively, on a monthly basis.

For the 2023-2024 educational year, the payment deadline for the single installment is:

30 October 2023 for those who completed the settling-in period in September 2023
November 30, 2023 for those who completed the settling-in period in October 2023
31 December 2023 for those who completed the settling-in period in November 2023
31 January 2024 for those who completed the settling-in period in December 2023
28 February 2024 for those who completed the settling-in period in January 2024

If you have chosen payment in monthly installments, the deadlines are divided as follows:

Month of July
Parents who intend to make use of the Summer Section in the month of July must submit an application to participate within the deadlines indicated in the Communiqué from the Children's Services Area (issued during the educational year).
Registration for the month of July requires advance payment of the fee relating to the chosen period, given that the service is organized based on the number of members. Insolvent users will be able to submit the application to participate in the Summer Section only after having regularized their accounting position.
The amount due for the month of July is not included in the annual payment.

Nursery schools: contribution rates and ISEE bands

La annual membership fee and of € 56,20, regardless of the reference bracket related to the ISEE certification.
The amount must be paid via PagoPa e it is not refundable.

Below, the rate monthly contributions for residents, related to the ISEE certification, based on the tariff adjustment approved with municipal council resolution 1964 of 29/01/2022 subsequently modified and integrated by municipal council resolution 33 of 19/01/2023.

Isee from €0,00 to €6.500,00 - free
ISEE from €6.500,01 to €12.500,00 - €111,30
ISEE from €12.500,01 to €27.000,00 - €250,60
ISEE over €27.000,00 and in case of absence of ISEE data - €502,20

Monthly contribution rates for non-residents
The families of girls and boys not resident in the Municipality of Milan are not entitled to subsidized contributions.
In this case, the monthly fee is € 669,35.

In the event of a transfer of residence outside the Municipality of Milan during the educational year, a fee equal to €669,35 per month will be assigned, which will start from the first day of the month in which the change of residence occurs, resulting from the Registry of the Resident Population and verified by the competent offices.

The family of the girl or boy is required to immediately inform the Voluntary Revenue and School Fees Collection Unit of the change by writing to the email address revenue.rettenidi@comune.milano.it.

Spring sections: contribution rates and ISEE bands

La annual membership fee and of € 56,20, regardless of the reference bracket related to the ISEE certification.
The amount must be paid via PagoPa e it is not refundable.

Below, the rate monthly contributions for residents, related to the ISEE certification, based on the tariff adjustment approved with municipal council resolution 1964 of 29/01/2022 subsequently modified and integrated by municipal council resolution 33 of 19/01/2023.

ISEE from €6.500,01 to €12.500,00 - €55,65
ISEE from €12.500,01 to €27.000,00 - €125,30
ISEE over €27.000,00 and in case of absence of ISEE data - €251,10

Monthly contribution rates for non-residents in the Municipality of Milan

The families of girls and boys not resident in the Municipality of Milan are not entitled to subsidized contributions.
In this case, the monthly fee is € 334,68.

In the event of a transfer of residence outside the Municipality of Milan during the educational year, a fee equal to €334,68 per month will be assigned, which will start from the first day of the month in which the request for change of residence occurs, resulting from the Registry of the Resident Population and verified by the competent offices.

The family of the girl or boy is required to immediately communicate the change to the Voluntary Revenue and School Fees Collection Unit by sending an email to the email address revenue.rettenidi@comune.milano.it.

Free nursery measures for the Lombardy Region

Based on recent provisions, the Lombardy Region will only cover the difference between the nursery bonus (€272,72 which INPS reimburses to families with ISEE not exceeding 25.000,00) and the fee requested by the Municipalities.

The Municipality of Milan cannot adhere to this Measure as families with ISEE not exceeding 20.000,00 pay a monthly fee to the Municipality of €250,60, a figure lower than that established by the Lombardy Region.

Adherence to the Measure is reserved exclusively for Municipalities (in the function of managers) as they participate in the cost of nursery services and apply differentiated tariffs based on the ISEE.
Consequently, the submission of the Misura Nidi gratis application would be reserved exclusively for users assigned by the municipal ranking.
However, the families of those enrolled in private nursery schools have never been among the beneficiaries of the Measure.
