Winning project
A project on a metropolitan scale in terms of functions and meaning, capable of relating to the Città Studi-Lambrate-Ortica sector, with the Milanese Scali ring and with the city centre. The Public Space system is modulated differently in relation to social demand.
A "sumptuous" and "harmonious" building system aimed at defining a unitary and identifying landscape reference on the scale of the city, but articulated and modulated internally in order to find an equitable relationship with the surrounding buildings.
A system of Public Space that dissolves the "landscape figure" of the Woods and the Square in the spatiality of the Park, the latter replicated three times and modulated differently in relation to social demand.
The Project combines the ancient "five streets" from popular toponymy with the "three squares" as a flexible, inclusive and exclusive system of collective life.
An anonymous Wall, today a true "urban back", transformed by the Project into a poetic tale of the place, the city, the railway, the train, through the creativity of an artist and the words of Lombard poets and writers capable of making the local and global, the soul of the city and that of the world.
A project made of architectural choices, urban design, technological and environmental options, of collective vocations that converge towards a participatory and sustainable social and environmental ecology.
