Bicocca - Executive Plan

The Executive Plan defines 7 Units (UCP) with the following provisions: 

  • UCP1: for the most part it is a free area reclaimed and intended for the construction of a university structure, a student residence and an equipped garden; 
  • UCP2: for the most part it is a free reclaimed area intended for the construction of free residences, a limited portion of commercial areas and a public garden
  • UCP3: today intended for a commercial structure;
  • UCP4: it is an area completely implemented with the construction of affiliated residence buildings;
  • UCP 5: areas subject to works for the construction of public works envisaged by the Ansaldo PL (greenery and level parking) and partly the redevelopment of the roadway in via Sesto San Giovanni, completed to date;
  • UCP 6: completed public garden areas. This unit also includes an area owned by the municipality given in concession to the Bicocca University - located on the corner between via Chiese and viale Sarca on which a building and a drinking water tower stand - not part of the PL Ansaldo, but included in this Executive Plan. This area has been redeveloped by UNIMIB; 
  • UCP7: built area on which an entertainment center stands with the related appurtenant car parks. 

Amending Act of the 2003 ADP signed on 22 October 2008, between the Lombardy Region, the University of Milan Bicocca and the Municipality of Milan.

The 2008 Agreement also provides for the Executive Plan relating to sub-unit 1b of the original Z4 Bicocca area.

On 22/03/2019, a functional variant relating only to the UCP2 of the EP was approved.
