The Ringhiera Theater is located in a "multipurpose" building located in via Boifava 17, on the southern outskirts of the city. The building, which in addition to the theatre, also housed some Registry offices, a Library Sector warehouse and the recreational spaces of Municipality 5, was closed and emptied in 2017 as various structural problems emerged for the entire complex : for the square in front of the theater entrance (called "piana"), for the building and for the theater itself, in particular the dressing rooms and the understage.

The theater represented a very important territorial presence for the reference area, thanks to the cultural and aggregative proposals that were constantly activated there, open to all citizens and especially to the inhabitants of the neighborhood.
The extraordinary maintenance intervention involves the modernization and bringing into compliance of the entire unit intended for entertainment and entertainment, including the service and technical rooms.
Through the physical recovery and functional reorganization of the property in via Boifava 17, the aim is to offer an innovative model of cultural intervention capable of contributing to the regeneration of the neighborhood and making a theatrical space available to the neighborhood and the city that combines an integrated cultural offer and multidisciplinary, innovation, multifunctionality and social integration.

Musical accumulation and session by the French naturalized American artist Arman is a "usable" sculpture located in Sempione Park.

Created in 1973, on the occasion of the XV Triennale together with eleven other works by various artists, it was placed inside the Sempione Park according to the Contatto Arte/Città program created by Giulio Macchi.

Information on conservation status
The evident deterioration of the work was caused by the passage of time. Parts of the work have been lost: the lectern is no longer in situ and almost only the imprint of the trumpet section remains, elements clearly visible in period photos.

The intervention
The conservative restoration of the Municipality of Milan intends to eliminate the causes of degradation and guarantee optimal maintenance of the work. The intervention is part of a broader program of redevelopment of the works of art present within the Sempione Park.

The initially foreseen amount has been reached but the campaign could be reopened as further funds are needed to allow the restoration of the work.
