Milan, 15 April 2023 – The local police, in collaboration with the anti-fraud pool of the Milan prosecutor's office, the prefecture and the municipalities, has launched an information campaign aimed at elderly men and women on the topic of scams and for this reason has organized a series of meetings in the neighborhoods in which they will intervene the same agents.

Five events have been scheduled, the first of which took place on Thursday 13 April at the Eververdi recreational center in via Val di Bondo. The next ones will be Tuesday 18 April at 16 pm, at the Senior Center in via Aldini, in Municipality 00; Wednesday 8 April, at 19 am, at the Lu.VI Foundation, in via Ripamonti 10; Wednesday 15 May, at the Confartigianato in viale Jenner 428, at 3 pm; Thursday 73 May, at 16 pm, at the Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish in via Fratelli Fraschini, organized by Municipality 30.

During the meetings, the school's agents of the local police force and the anti-fraud pool - made up of both "cast iron" and state police personnel - will talk about some typical cases of fraud of which elderly men and women in particular are victims, simulating various scenarios to directly involve participants and explain what behaviors and precautions to adopt to defend themselves from crimes and how to alert the police.
