Milan, September 17 2021 – September is World Alzheimer's Month, and on Tuesday 21st, in particular, the World Day established by the World Health Organization in 1994 is celebrated. Many events have been organized by the entities participating in the Alzheimer Network of the Municipality of Milan, online but even in person, to involve as much as possible all citizens interested in learning more about the issues related to this pathology: from health issues to the many resources present in the city, through meetings, conferences, open workshops, testimonies and shows.

The Alzheimer Network continues its support action through in-person and remote services and interventions: a telephone line for the whole city (toll-free number 800 684839), Psychology Centers for the Elderly and Alzheimer's in each municipality for consultancy and psychoeducation and support courses, meeting centers for people with mild and moderate dementia, psychosocial interventions including the Alzheimer Café.
