Milan, 21 August - Trotter Park: two new multisport areas will be built following the suggestion of the inhabitants of the neighbourhood. Thanks to the Participatory Budget, where there was the school swimming pool of the Casa del Sole, there are now two multifunctional sports fields. The project, financed with a total of approximately 420 thousand euros, will return a completely redeveloped historic space to the people of Milan.

Scooters: there are around 6 thousand electric vehicles in sharing in Milan for an average of 7.600 rentals per day. Lime Technology will soon be added to the different operators active in the city, Dott, Circ, Bird, Voi, Wind, Bit and Helbiz. The Administration's objective is to make the maximum number of sustainable mobility opportunities available to the Milanese in time for the autumn recovery, choosing between two wheels and electric micromobility, whether owned or shared.

Local police: 53 thousand objects seized in 2020 in the center of Milan. There are more than a thousand interventions by the Duomo Unit against illegal sales to protect the decorum, safety and health of Milanese people and tourists. Umbrellas, mobile phone accessories, light toys, colored bracelets, clothing, roses and even pigeon feed are the most common items among unlicensed sellers.

Taxi vouchers: requests to obtain the contribution for the races have started. Elderly people, doctors, nurses and people with 100% disabilities, residing in Milan, can request vouchers for discounted taxi rides, starting from Tuesday 18 August and until 30 November. The provision, valid only for those who choose the electronic payment formula, is also extended to women limited to travel between 21pm and 6am.
