Borgo Chiaravalle Memorial Garden
First collaboration agreement for the Borgo di Chiaravalle.
The signed pact provides for the shared regeneration of the Giardino delle Rimembranze, adjacent to the former 'Sciesa' school and the only public park in the neighbourhood.
The birth of this collaboration pact is the result of the meeting between the Luoghicomuni action, promoted by Labsus and Italia Nostra Onlus - Urban Forestation Center - within the Lacittàintorno program of the Cariplo Foundation, with some parents, families, boys and girls who live in the village of Chiaravalle.
The first care action will be the creation of the 'flowering backdrop', with the planting of cornflower, poppy and wheat seeds at the entrance to the Garden for a new community flowerbed. Then come the cultural and aggregative activities.
The agreement envisages carrying out:
- Place coloring activities
- Creation of the Chiaravalle flag
- Create the “goose game” design
- Find a name for the park, even with the help of girls and boys;
- Develop shared moments where small artistic installations can be created.
- With the specific support of Italia Nostra: create, also with girls and boys, a flowered backdrop to the south-west that increases the positive perception of the place and becomes a tool for the younger generations to understand the life cycle linked to nature and insects who live there;
- Remove dead trees;
- Redesign, where possible, existing plantings.
