Public hearing

Citizens can request a public hearing on significant economic interventions, on territorial planning, on the protection of health and the environment.

  • In the presence of a request signed by a thousand citizens, the mayor or delegated councilor calls the public hearing within 45 working days from the date of publication on the Municipality portal and in the offices of the Municipalities where the request was presented
  • the mayor and the delegated councilor chair the public hearing, possibly assisted by the secretary or deputy general secretary or by another councilor competent for the matter.

Request

The signatures for the request for a public hearing must be placed on sheets to be endorsed on a single date and then sent to the mayor.

  • Each signature must be accompanied by the name, surname, date and place of birth of the signatory, as well as the details of an identification document.
