Signage for places of interest

To install road signs indicating locations or points of historical, artistic, cultural and tourist interest, authorization from the municipal administration is required.

  • The authorization in question concerns exclusively tourist and territorial indication signs with a brown background and white frames and inscriptions.
  • The burden of supplying, installing and maintaining these signs is borne by those involved in the installation.

  • Una stamp of the current value (current amount of Euro 16,00), to be applied to the authorization, which will be issued in the event of a favorable investigation.
     
  • In the case of installation on new poles, the payment of a security deposit equal to €500,00 for each newly installed pole, to guarantee the restoration of public land.

Request

The application can be submitted exclusively by bodies, associations or other entities present in the area with social and/or cultural purposes.

Download the forms and also prepare:

  • copy of the valid identification document of the applicant/legal representative;
  • copy of the applicant's memorandum and statute (bodies/associations or other entities present in the area with social and/or cultural purposes);
  • descriptive technical report of the works to be carried out and the type of signals;
  • general planimetric framework with highlighting of the itineraries;
  • 1:500 scale plan of the individual locations with indication of the exact installation point of the signs;
  • checks for the presence of underground services in the area being excavated - only if excavations deeper than 20 cm are necessary for the installation of new poles.

Important: if the request is sent electronically, the original request must be kept for three years for any checks by the Administration.
