Register of companies admitted to carry out funeral activities in the Municipality of Milan

Who can carry out the funeral business in Milan?

The funeral business activity in the Municipality of Milan is reserved for individuals in possession of authorization issued by a municipal administration of the Lombardy Region.

Furthermore, the Municipality of Milan maintains an electronic register in which the funeral companies that carry out funeral services in the municipal area are registered.

The purpose of the register is to simplify the procedures for issuing authorization to carry out the requested services and to monitor the permanence of the requirements established for the exercise of this activity.

To register in the register:

  1. prepare the documentation listed in the section Forms, duly completed in all its parts and complete with attachments, for official checks
  2. deliver everything in the manner indicated below.

Our offices, having verified the completeness of the documentation, will communicate to the company the registration in the register and the company code assigned to it.
