Register of companies admitted to carry out work in municipal cemeteries

Companies interested in carrying out work in municipal cemeteries must first register in a specific register and obtain the attribution of a company code.

Essential requirements are the establishment of a security deposit and insurance coverage.

When submitting the registration application it is necessary for the companies to provide a security deposit to cover any damage to people and/or property of the municipal administration or third parties.

The amounts of these deposits vary depending on the type of activity for which registration is requested and are subject to annual adjustment as part of the tariff updates carried out by the Funeral and Cemetery Services Area.

Alternatively, it is possible to attach to the registration application a copy of a third-party civil liability insurance policy, which must be valid for the entire period in which the activity is carried out. The ceiling must not be less than the amount of the security deposit required for the type of activity you intend to carry out. In the case of multiple activities, the coverage must be commensurate with the riskiest one.

To request registration in the register:

  1. constitute the security deposit
  2. download and fill out the form included in the section Forms
    - the company must specify the types of activities it intends to carry out
    - the carrying out of multiple activities is permitted, provided that they are present in the description of the business activity resulting from the Chamber of Commerce certificate.

Once the completeness of the documentation has been verified, the Municipality will confirm registration to the company and send it the assigned company code.
