School meals: sign up for the service

Registration for the school lunch service must be completed for those who attend:

  • municipal and state nursery schools
  • state primary and lower secondary schools

The service is managed by Milan Catering e offered both to students enrolled in the first year and to those confirmed in subsequent classes.

Important

Starting from the 2022/2023 school year, registration for the service takes place only at the beginning of each school cycle (1st year of childhood, 1st year of primary school, 1st year of lower secondary school).

When registering online it is possible to request a reduced contribution rate by committing to request the ORDINARY ISEE certificate by 31 July 2023 and authorizing the Municipality of Milan and Milan Ristorazione to acquire this certificate directly from the INPS database.

The integral management of the contribution quotas for the school catering service is entrusted to the Milano Ristorazione SpA company and includes:

  • registrations for the service in state and municipal schools of all levels
  • the attribution and collection of quotas paid by families
  • the verification of payment and the reminder and collection of missed payments.

The annual fee for full-time employment is €734,40.

Families residing in the Municipality of Milan can benefit from a reduced contribution rate based on the value of the ISEE certificate issued pursuant to Prime Ministerial Decree no. 159 of 15/12/2013.

To pay the fee, you can consult the dedicated page on the Milano Ristorazione website.

The amount can be paid in a single solution, or divided into installments (4 installments for nursery and primary schools and 2 installments for "module" primary and lower secondary schools (with less than 5 returns per week).

The due date of the installments will be reported on the pagoPA notice or on the SDD communication sent to families.

The reimbursement of the meal fee is expected in the event of:

  • undue payments
  • incorrect payments
  • failure to use the service
  • reduction of fees and/or granting of free tickets.

Families residing in the Municipality of Milan can submit a request for revision of the contribution quota. Requests for fee revisions can be submitted from the beginning of the school year (September 2023) to April 30, 2024.

The reasons for submitting the application are:

  • job loss
  • situation of socio-economic hardship
  • variation in family members
  • allocation of the quota vitiated by material and/or compilation errors
  • attribution of the contribution quota tainted by obvious irregularities or illegitimacy

 

Review of the quota during the year:

The request for revision of the contribution quota during the year can be presented at the Fees Office of Milano Ristorazione SpA through the physical counter (in Via Carlo Matteucci, 1 - 20129 Milan). Please remember that it is necessary to make an appointment by connecting directly to UFIRST DESKTOP (or by downloading the App from Google Play or Apple Store).

 

Remember:

Before submitting the request for revision, we recommend that you read the information provided on page no. 10 of the Information Note "Un Posto a Tavola as 2023/2024" and what is indicated in the annex called "Documents to be attached to the request for revision of the quota" present in the "Attachments" box.

In case of temporary objective difficulty, a greater installment of the annual fee due may be requested.
