Sanctions that concern access to Area C, ZTL and reserved lanes

It is possible to request the archiving of the assessment report if:

• the vehicle is authorized to access Area C or the ZTL subject to the sanction or the reserved lanes
• the vehicle is exempt from paying the entry ticket to Area C
• the access coupon to Area C was activated with the pin within the established deadlines
• the vehicle is registered for the transport of people with disabilities, regularly displays the sticker and the owner was on board when the infringement was detected.

Other cases in which archiving can be requested are:

• incorrect registration of the license plate number
• vehicle sold on a date prior to the violation being ascertained
• the vehicle was reported stolen on the date the violation was discovered
• the amount was paid within the 5 days indicated by the infringement being ascertained, but subsequently the Administration still notified the report
• the owner of the vehicle is deceased and the date of death is after the date of the violation
• other (specifying the reason for which archiving is requested).

Remember
The instance does not replace the appeal pursuant to the articles 203 and 204 bis of the Highway Code, therefore does not interrupt the 60 day period for the payment of the reduced fine.
