Juvenile criminal mediation

The Center for Restorative Justice and Criminal Mediation, on mandate from the Juvenile Judicial Authority, promotes and carries out consensual and confidential meetings between the perpetrators of crime who were minors at the time of the crime and the offended persons.

The service makes use of expert mediators from the Municipality of Milan and the Ministry of Justice. Then, in variable numbers, volunteers, interns and private social entities take turns on the basis of funding or specific projects.

Mediation is consensual, free and confidential and takes place outside of court.
