The declaration in lieu of the deed of notoriety, which can be used in relations with the Public Administrations, with the managers of public services and with private individuals, serves to prove statuses, personal qualities or facts directly known to the person concerned and not included in the list of cases for who resort to theself-certification

If it is requested from private individuals (companies or private entities such as banks, insurance companies, etc.), you must sign it personally in front of the Registry Officer.

Declaration in lieu of affidavit for succession

This declaration can only be made by: 

• residents in Milan
• domiciled in Milan but resident in a municipality located outside the Lombardy Region who cannot travel to their place of residence.
