Simplified landscape authorization

With the company Presidential Decree. n. 31 of 13 February 2017, have been introduced substantial changes in terms of simplification to current legislation regarding landscape authorization, through the use of unified models and a procedure to be completed within a maximum of 60 days. In fact, the categories of works and interventions for which it is possible to request a simplified landscape authorization have been expanded.

In particular, the following annexes were approved:

A (31 interventions and works excluded from the landscape authorization): internal works; interventions on the façades or roofs of buildings; static consolidation and anti-seismic adaptation interventions; interventions to eliminate architectural barriers, installation of systems (air conditioners, satellite dishes, antennas, etc.); installation of removable seasonal products; installation of awnings on terraces; installation of solar panels (thermal or photovoltaic); monuments, headstones, funerary shrines; maintenance of riverbeds, banks and embankments; etc. For some of these types, the exemption is triggered only if the interventions affect areas subject to protection with a specific decree with management criteria;
