Accreditation of Social Offering Units

The managing bodies that intend to submit an application for the accreditation of an active Social Offering Unit (UdOS) must refer to the information relating to the accreditation procedures, which will be available in the specific notices which will be published from time to time. on the website of the Municipality of Milan under the heading "Tenders".

For early childhood UdOS, the relevant Accreditation Notice can be accessed from the attachments section.

Accreditation is the process of further qualification of the Social Offering Units in operation. The request for accreditation is voluntary. The "accredited" entity is recognized as an entity that can provide services or services relating to the Accredited Offering Unit on behalf of the Public Service.

Accreditation is a necessary prerequisite to be able to stipulate contracts or agreements for the purchase of educational services for early childhood and personalized socio-educational and social welfare services for minors, adolescents, the elderly, disabled people and their families.

A fundamental and indispensable condition for obtaining accreditation of a Social Offering Unit is "being in regular operation", i.e. having submitted the Prior Operation Communication (CPE) for the same Offering Unit and having had a positive outcome from the related supervisory activity carried out by ATS Milan.

For early childhood UdOS it is sufficient to have presented the Preventive Exercise Communication (CPE) or to be in possession of the authorization to operate and to possess all the qualification requirements (accreditation requirements) set by the Municipality.

EDITORIAL NOTE OF 6 DECEMBER 2023

With reference to the Attachments to the public notice for the accreditation of entities providing socio-educational services aimed at early childhood located in the territory of the Municipality of Milan, it is specified that Attachment no. 2 "Declarations of Accreditation Requirements", for mere material error in the Micronido Sheet - in the part relating to "Indicators and declarations" in point 4. Training of socio-educational workers - has been replaced with due correction.
