Request
To obtain theauthorization for exhumation from a columbarium or cell prepare:
• copy of a valid identity document of the requesting person;
• authorization from the dealer of the product or, in his absence, from the spouse/civil partner; in his absence, of all the closest relatives of equal rank;
• authorization of those entitled, if necessary, based on the burial chosen.
Once the authorization has been obtained, it will be possible to entrust the execution of the columbarium exhumation work to a company authorized to operate in cemeteries.

- at the Renewals, Burials, Exhumations and Exhumations Office (see the "Desk" item on this page, below).

- request with revenue stamp of €16,00, complete with all the details of the requesting person (telephone contacts and email address) indicating the data of the deceased person, the reference cemetery and the current burial, the reasons and the subsequent destination of the deceased person;
- copy of a valid identity document of the requesting person;
- Authorization of all the closest relatives of the deceased person;
- Necropsy certificate (only for bodies) for deaths less than two years old relating to people who died outside Milan
- Appointment of the contact person for the heirs of the ninety-nine-year burial, in the event of death of the original concessionaire (download the form here)
Once the authorization has been obtained, it will be possible to entrust the execution of the works to a company authorized to operate in cemeteries.

- at the Ninety-Nine Burials Office (see "Desk" on this page, below).
Alternatively, for all the above operations it is possible to delegate a funeral company.
In case of delegate a business will also need:
- delegation to the company;
- copy of a valid identity document of the delegating person;
- tax code of the delegating person.
