Privacy information VIDEO SURVEILLANCE - Via Sile, 8

This information is provided pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data) and refers to processing carried out using video surveillance systems with or without recording.  

Data controller

Types of data processed

Filming and images relating to natural persons.

Purpose and legal basis 
The processing is carried out in compliance with the conditions set out in the art. 6 of EU Regulation 2016/679 and in particular for the execution of a task of public interest with regard to the following purposes, which may occur individually or jointly:
• Safety and protection of workers
• Protection of municipal heritage

Mode of treatment 
The processing carried out via video surveillance is carried out in compliance with fundamental rights and freedoms and is based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of confidentiality.

Nature of treatment
Based on their technical characteristics, video surveillance systems can simply detect or even record the images of people passing within the range of the cameras. 
For this reason, interested parties, before entering the video-surveillance area, are informed by means of special signs indicating whether the systems are detecting and/or recording.

Communication and dissemination 
The images are not subject to communication or dissemination, unless such operations are required by regulatory provisions. The data may then be communicated to the Judicial Authority, to the Judicial Police if the conditions are met.

Categories of data recipients
The processing is carried out by authorized persons committed to confidentiality and responsible for the related activities in relation to the purposes pursued. 
The processing of images may also be carried out by people attributable to external parties acting on behalf of the Municipality and specifically designated as Data Processors pursuant to art. 28 of EU Regulation 2016/679. 

Data retention
The criteria used to determine the data retention period explicitly refer to the Provision of the Supervisory Authority - Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data - of 08.04.2010. 
The images will in any case be stored for a period not exceeding five days, without prejudice to storage for a further time to comply with a specific request by the judicial authority or the judicial police in relation to an investigative activity.
Data transfer to third countries: the data provided for the aforementioned purposes are not transferred to third countries or international organizations, inside or outside the European Union.

Rights of interested parties 
Interested parties can exercise the rights provided for by the art. 15 and following of EU Regulation 2016/679 and in particular the right to access your personal data, to request its limitation, cancellation if the conditions exist, as well as to oppose the processing by addressing the request to the Municipality of Milan as Data Controller , via Sile, n. 8 20139 Milan - Urban Planning Directorate - to the following e-mail address: URB.Videosorveglianzasile@comune.milano.it.

In consideration of the intrinsic nature of data processing, the right to update, rectify or integrate data cannot be exercised as these are images collected in real time regarding an objective fact.

Right of complaint
Finally, we inform you that interested parties, if they believe that the processing of personal data relating to them occurs in violation of the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 (art. 77) have the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor, or to appeal to the appropriate offices judicial (art. 79 of the Regulation).
