Cookies are text files that the sites visited by users send to their terminals and which are re-transmitted to the sites themselves on the next visit. Cookies can be divided into two macro-categories: "technical cookies" and "profiling cookies".

1.1 Technical cookies
The website of the Municipality of Milan uses technical cookies to allow safe, rapid and efficient exploration of the site itself and to provide users with the requested services. The installation of these cookies does not require the prior consent of users.

1.1.1 Technical session cookies
Session cookies are used for navigation and for authentication to online services and reserved areas. The use of these cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow navigation effective of the site. Purpose and legal basis

The data processing is aimed at guaranteeing the technical functioning of the Site.

 

Personal data are processed in compliance with the conditions established by EU Regulation 2016/679 and in particular:

  • from the art. 6 – par. 1 letter a) consent, which the user accessing the Site is free to give or not and which he can, in any case, revoke at any time

 

Revocation or modification of consent to the installation of cookies

The Owner informs that the user of the Site will be able to change his choice regarding the storage of cookies at any time, via the "privacy preference center" present on each page of the Site.

 

Types of data processed

navigation activity on the Institution's website involves the collection of the following personal data:

  • Unique visitor ID/timestamp.
  • Session information (tracing referral links).

 

Mode of treatment

The processing takes place in compliance with fundamental rights and freedoms and is based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of confidentiality. It is also carried out with the aid of electronic instruments consistently with the operations indicated in the art. 4, point 2, of EU Regulation 2016/679.

Nature of treatment

The provision of data is:

- optional but failure to provide them does not allow you to use the full functionality of the Site (e.g. viewing a video)

 

Communication and dissemination

Personal data are not subject to communication or dissemination.

 

Categories of data recipients

The processing is carried out by authorized persons committed to confidentiality and responsible for the related activities in relation to the purposes pursued.

The data processing is also carried out by the company Accenture SpA with registered office Via Privata Nino Bonnet 10 - 20154 Milan which assumes the function of Data Controller pursuant to art. 28 of EU Regulation 2016/679.

Data retention

The data will be kept for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and in any case for a period not exceeding 2 years.

Data transfer to third countries

The data processed for the aforementioned purposes are not transferred to third countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area (EEA) or to international organisations.

Rights of interested parties

Interested parties can exercise the rights provided for by the art. 15 and following of EU Regulation 2016/679 and in particular the right to access one's personal data, to request rectification or limitation, updating if incomplete or incorrect and cancellation if the conditions exist as well as to oppose the processing by contacting the request should be addressed to:
