Information pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679

Pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data), the following information is provided.

Data controller

The Data Controller is the Municipality of Milan with headquarters in Piazza della Scala, 2 – 20121 Milan – General Management – ​​Communication Area - Press Office – Web Editing and Services Coordination - Press Office – Web Editing and Services Coordination, located in Piazza della Scala , 2 – 20121 Milan – email address: comunication. ufficiostampa@comune.milano.it 

Data Protection Officer (DPO)

The Municipality of Milan has appointed its own Personal Data Protection Officer who can be contacted at the e-mail address: dpo@comune.milano.it 

Purpose

The processing of data is aimed at registering and accrediting the interested party in the list of subjects authorized to receive press releases and/or other communications relating to journalistic activity and aimed at the dissemination of news intended for the press and information bodies relating to the activities carried out by the Municipality of Milan

Legal basis

Personal data are processed in compliance with the conditions established by EU Regulation 2016/679 and in particular by art. 6 – par. 1 letter a) the interested party having given his consent to the processing of his personal data.

Consent can be revoked at any time by, alternatively: - sending an email to ufficiostampa@comune.milano.it with the subject “revocation of consent list of authorized Press Office subjects”;

- the "unsubscribe" link inserted at the bottom of the emails sent by the Press Office of the Municipality of Milan.

Types of data processed

To allow authorization to access the digital platform, the following personal data must be provided:

- common personal data (name and surname)

- Email address

- Telephone number

Mode of treatment

The processing takes place in compliance with fundamental rights and freedoms and is based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of confidentiality. It is also carried out with the help of

electronic instruments consistently with the operations indicated in the art. 4, point 2, of EU Regulation 2016/679.

Nature of treatment

The provision of data is optional, with the clarification that in its absence the interested party cannot be registered and accredited in the list of subjects authorized to receive communications sent by the Press Office of the Municipality of Milan.

Communication and dissemination

Personal data are not subject to communication or dissemination except in cases provided for by law.

Categories of data recipients

The processing is carried out by authorized persons committed to confidentiality and responsible for the related activities in relation to the purposes pursued.

The processing is also carried out by TeamSystem Spa personnel, with registered office Via Sandro Pertini, 88 - 661122 Pesaro, tax code and VAT number no. 01035310141, with regard to the activity of "Management of mass communication distribution contacts on the mailing list of the Municipality of Milan" concerning common personal data, designated as Data Processor pursuant to art. 28 GDPR.

Data retention

The data will be kept for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and in any case for the entire period during which the journalist remains registered in the list of subjects authorized to receive press releases and/or communications sent by the Press Office of the Municipality of Milan.

Data transfer to third countries

The data processed for the aforementioned purposes are not transferred to third countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area (EEA) or to international organisations. Should this become necessary, such transfer will take place exclusively towards third countries in favor of which the European Commission has previously issued an adequacy decision, pursuant to Article 45 GDPR, or, failing that, in the presence of one of the guarantees of referred to in Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses pursuant to Article 46 GDPR.

Rights of interested parties

Interested parties can exercise the rights provided for by the art. 15 and following of EU Regulation 2016/679 and in particular the right to access one's personal data, to request rectification or limitation, portability, updating if incomplete or incorrect and cancellation if the conditions exist as well as to oppose the Processing by addressing the request should be addressed to:

At any time the interested party can ask the Data Controller to delete the data concerning him, with the clarification that acceptance of the aforementioned request automatically determines the revocation of the authorization for access to the contents of the digital platform.

Right of complaint

Finally, we inform you that interested parties, if they believe that the processing of personal data relating to them occurs in violation of the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 (art. 77) have the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor, (garanteprivacy.it/) or to take action in the appropriate judicial offices (art. 79 of the Regulation).

Modification

The Owner reserves the right to make to this Information, at its sole discretion and at any time, all changes deemed appropriate or made mandatory by the regulations in force from time to time, giving adequate publicity to interested parties.
