Personalized rest area with disabled badge: request for assignment at the residence

The establishment of a residential rest area is aimed at facilitating the travel needs of the person with mobility difficulties (due to stabilized pathologies), primarily as a driver and not as a person being transported.

  • residence in the Municipality of Milan
  • possession of a disability certificate lasting no less than 5 years issued by the Municipality of Milan in relation to a very serious, permanent and continuous impairment of the ability to walk caused by a stabilized pathology
  • age no less than 24 months
  • possession of a valid driving license, compatible with documented pathologies or a photocopy of the driving license of a co-resident person or of a non-resident person who is permanently employed to guarantee travel
  • need for frequent travel for activities: study, social, healthcare or work in the area
  • possession or availability of the motor vehicle
  • unavailability of garage or parking space on a private area at the place of residence or in the immediate vicinity.

Important
The condition of being blind, if not associated with another pathology that seriously compromises walking, does not give the right to the assignment of the area.
