Anna Scavuzzo, born in Milan in 1976, graduated in Physics. 

In the 2011-2016 administrative mandate she was City Councilor and president of the Institutional Affairs Commission. In 2015 she was also elected Councilor of the Metropolitan City and Mayor Pisapia entrusted her with the responsibility for the Environment, Metropolitan Parks and Youth Policies.  

In 2016 she was again elected to the City Council and Mayor Sala appointed her Deputy Mayor. 

For the first half of his mandate he is Councilor for Education, with responsibility for relations with religious communities and Youth Policies. 

It deals with Educational Policies, municipal educational services, school catering and promotes dialogue between the Municipality, Universities and research centres. 

In the second half of her mandate she was appointed Councilor for Urban Security with responsibility for the Local Police, consolidating an increasingly broad collaboration between the Administration and the institutions represented at the Prefecture's table for Public Order and Security. 

As part of the delegation to Youth Policies, it promotes activities within the Fabbrica del Vapore as a place to experiment with creative and innovative forms of expression, InformaGiovani, the Youth Aggregation Centers and the migeneration-net Youth Policies Forum. 

Since 2017 she has been delegated by the Mayor to coordinate the Food Policy of Milan, promoting synergies between departments, investee companies and all the city's actors who act to make the Milanese food system more sustainable. Milan's Food Policy has obtained numerous awards, becoming an excellence and a case study at a national and international level.
