I was born in Monza in 1970, at the age of 8 I moved to Milan, where I studied, graduating in geological sciences. Married, I divide my time between my commitment as a City Councilor and work for an Italian group, leader in European digital payments, where I deal with business organization and quality-environment-social accountability management systems.
It was 2010: my first political battle began in support of separate waste collection, collecting signatures together with the Vigentino PD club to prevent the construction of an incinerator in Opera and supporting a virtuous policy in managing the waste cycle. We focused on sustainability: today Milan is capable of separating over 60% of waste. A battle won. From that 2010, my life changed together with Milan.
Together and fully within that "orange" wind of change that brought us into a new season with Giuliano Pisapia. An open, lively and supportive city.
In 2011 I was elected councilor of zone 5 in the PD. In the south of Milan, the municipality 5 where I live, a city within the city, my curiosity, passion and commitment find a home on some issues also brought to the City Council with Beppe Sala since 2016, as vice-president of the Urban Planning commission, Private Construction and the Milanese Agricultural System: regeneration and transformation of the territory, valorisation of green and agricultural areas, sustainable mobility, right to housing for all, contrast to school segregation and the impoverishment of local healthcare.
In this second mandate in the Sala administration, I was confirmed vice-president of the urban planning commission, now Urban Regeneration, and elected vice-president of the Economic Development and Labor Policies Commission.
I am convinced that Milan must move forward, not giving up on seizing the opportunity to make courageous choices in the uncertainty of the present which has also changed our way of being and living. We have a great responsibility. That of immersing ourselves in the new rhythm of a city that wants to build its future by taking inspiration from the great European cities, without losing sight of the inequalities, which have also grown in Milan, and above all the people, their needs and the proximity in the neighborhoods where they live, work, study, build their own well-being and that of the community.
