With a classical high school diploma and a degree in Political Science with a specialization in Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management, I obtained a Master's degree in Diversity Management and Gender Equality from the Giacomo Brodolini Foundation. I have been involved in human resources management for almost fifteen years and I am a specialist in diversity management. My professional training ground was the labor consultancy firms in Milan, where I dealt with labor law consultancy and personnel administration of client companies. In collaboration with a well-known personnel search and selection agency, I also had the opportunity to deal with recruiting and head hunting for professional firms.
As a specialist in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, I have held training sessions at important companies and corporates. I am a seminar teacher on issues relating to diversity within a Master's in Human Resources.
I have a dream: I would like to be able to work at the service of citizens to combat discrimination due to gender, age, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity with culture and professionalism . I dream of a world of work that does not leave behind those who are even more in difficulty today due to the difficult times we live in and the precariousness that affects our lives in all sectors.
I have been a militant for the rights of LGBT+ people for 25 years. In particular, I dedicated myself to volunteer activities to support the community at various associations.
I have published four books on LGBT+ issues with important publishers. My latest book - published in 2023 by the TEA publishing house - is entitled No Going Back. The long journey of civil rights for LGBT+ people in Italy.
The key words on which I am basing my work in the City Council are three: rights, work and equality.
As part of the Democratic Party's latest congressional journey, I supported Elly Schlein's motion.
I am currently a member of the National Direction of the Democratic Party.
