I am sixty-two years old and I was born in Milan. I work and live in this city. I am a doctor and have two specializations. I practice my profession in my studio and in a multi-specialist center of a Milanese hospital. I was a teacher in a specialization school of a university institute.
I am a member of a restaurant in Milan where, thanks to a great chef, the taste for tradition is cultivated but after many years I still have not learned to cook. I more easily sit down and wait for those dishes that move my taste buds and heart.
I have written songs for theater shows, poems that have won international awards, fairy tales for children and adults. I don't think I will be remembered for this but I have never been ashamed of such activities.
I have been involved for many years as a volunteer offering medical assistance in reception centers and clinics that took care of fragile people and migrants. I am Health Director in a Public Assistance Association which has faced the pandemic since March 2020 by providing psychological pharmacological food support to people in difficulty as part of the Milano Help project.
The association has also done its best to offer a free rapid and salivary swab and swab service for COVID 19 in some streets and squares of Milan.
In the previous council I was a municipal councilor on the Alleanza Civica list and president of the Sport and Tourism commission. I was group leader of the civic list for two years.
I presented myself in the last elections on the "Milano in Salute" list and was elected. I recently joined the civic list because we share many environmental and social issues. I am president of the Welfare and Health commission.
I still want to work for a Milan that must claim a more active role on the issue of health and that can promote greater accessibility to social, health and welfare services.
My wife, two wonderful children and the friends who have shared my path over the years will comfort me in my intentions.
