Authorizations for the occupation of public land for temporary initiatives relating to commercial, artisanal and hobby activities of a municipal nature

The current Regulation of the Municipalities, regarding commercial and craft activities (in art. 19 – paragraph 1) establishes that: “The Municipalities are assigned the function of promoting, in the neighborhoods of the community of reference, temporary initiatives regarding activities commercial, artisanal and hobby sectors”.

In line with the aforementioned regulation, the managerial determination of the General Directorate n. 19/2019, containing provisions relating to the creation of events and aggregative initiatives in the city territory, carries out a survey of the skills among the organizational structures of the Administration and attributes to the Neighborhoods and Municipalities - Municipal Areas Directorate the responsibility for authorizations for land occupation for neighborhood thematic aggregation events or initiatives, for craft and antique markets and hobbyist markets, of municipal interest.

Following the reorganization of the administrative structure of the Institution which took place with Executive Decision of the General Directorate n. 676\2022 of 3 February 2022, this responsibility passed to the Civic and Municipal Services Directorate - Municipal Area.
