• Management following the presentation of the SCIA relating to commercial, artisanal, hospitality and former NOE activities

• Management of agricultural business start-up reports (DAA) and temporary certified start-up reports (SCIA) submitted by farmers

• Control over commercial, artisanal, service and hospitality activities

• Management and reorganization of open municipal markets and traveling fairs

• Actions aimed at relaunching the covered municipal markets

• Management of relationships with SOGEMI regarding the proposed amendments to the Regulations on Markets and Market Commissions

• Possible management of the assignment of public utility services, as well as of the instrumental activities entrusted to external subjects in support of the Administration, for the scope of competence and management of the related service contracts, in coordination, in relation to the assignments in favor of participated entities, with the Budget and Participate Management

• Management of relationships with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture, with trade associations, consumer associations and with other institutional bodies and subjects (ATS, ARPA, Fire Brigade, Metropolitan City, Police Headquarters)

• Promotion of coordination initiatives between entrepreneurial and professional actors in the area, in agreement with the Chamber of Commerce and representative associations

• Management of the activities of the offices for agriculture, crafts, commercial and hospitality activities

• Activities of prevention, control and fight against illegality in the field of trade, in collaboration with the other Departments of the Institution

• Management and related monitoring of all administrative activities connected to: taxi service, rental service with driver by buses, cars, special vehicles, non-scheduled public transport service for people

• Management of litigation in collaboration with the municipal attorney's office

• Sponsorship management

• Issue of authorizations for the registration of third-party trademarks bearing the name "Milano" pursuant to art. 10 of Legislative Decree 30/2005

ONE STOP EVENTS AREA

• Development, coordination, management and supervision of the one-stop shop for events and activities, including those of a concession and authorization nature, related to the holding of temporary public entertainment events/shows in the territory of the Municipality of Milan
• Supervision and coordination of consultancy and assistance activities with regard to requests for the holding of temporary public entertainment events/shows in the territory of the Municipality of Milan
• Coordination and management of the reception activities of requests for the holding of temporary public entertainment events/shows in the Milan area presented at the Single Events Desk and the consequent sorting activities of such requests to the competent areas of the Administration, for the purposes of carrying out of the investigations aimed at issuing the authorizations/clearances necessary for the realization of the event/demonstration for which they are responsible
• Study and in-depth activities aimed at simplifying and standardizing the administrative and IT processes linked to the issuing of the authorisations/clearances necessary for the realization of events/demonstrations in the Milan area, with updating of the relevant forms, in collaboration with the Milan Chamber of Commerce and external cultural bodies and with the Technological and Digital Innovation Directorate
• Management and Coordination, in conjunction with the Technological and Digital Innovation Department, of the functions connected to the use of the OSAPi software for the integrated management of the practices relating to the concession/authorization measures necessary for the creation of temporary public entertainment events/shows in the area of the Municipality of Milan
• Liaison with the Urban Regeneration Directorate and the Budget and Participates Directorate in relation to the activities connected to the development of detailed and georeferenced plans of the spaces granted for carrying out
of temporary public entertainment events/demonstrations in the territory of the Municipality of Milan, also in order to identify the best positioning of functional structures for carrying out the aforementioned events
• Management of activities and procedures for the issuing of concessions for the temporary occupation of land relating to events and public entertainment in the Milan area and verification of payment of the related fee
• Management and supervision of the activities and procedures for the issuing of temporary public entertainment licenses connected to the holding of temporary public entertainment events/demonstrations in the territory of the Municipality of Milan; forwarding to the Urban Security Directorate of public entertainment authorizations as far as it is concerned
• Management of activities and procedures for the issuing of temporary licenses for the sale, supply of food and drinks in private and public areas and handling of SCIA connected to the holding of temporary public entertainment events/demonstrations in the territory of the Municipality of Milan
• Coordination and management of the activities of requesting opinions from the Inter-departmental Committee and the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the Metropolitan City of Milan as well as the consequent activity of notifying the outcomes to interested users
• Management of collaboration activities with the Urban Security Directorate, Tax Assessment Office, for carrying out assessment activities for occupations that differ from the provisions of the concession deed or which continue beyond the expiry date
• Management of litigation in collaboration with the municipal attorney's office for the relevant part
• Authorization for professional photo-cinema-TV filming to be carried out within the areas of the historic center (circle of the canals), city parks and municipal buildings
• Management of activities and procedures for the issuing of concessions/authorisations for the occupation of public land with readily removable light structures, with removable semi-rigid structures and with dehors

ADVERTISING AND LAND OCCUPATION AREA
• Issuing of authorizations and management of SCIA for the display of temporary and permanent advertising media and management of the related counters
• Control of advertising media and issuing of any sanctions
• Technical cooperation with the Departments involved for revenue recovery and tax evasion activities
• Management and control of the billboard service
• Definition and monitoring of advertising plans and mapping of permanent billboard systems and displays
• Study and analysis preparatory to the implementation of the "Milan Advertising System" through the updating of the Advertising Regulations and the drafting of the Advertising Plan
• Management of activities relating to bike sharing based on the planning of the competent area of ​​the Mobility Directorate, with particular reference to authorization activities
• Management of activities and procedures for the issuing of concessions/authorisations for the occupation of public soil and subsoil and of the quantification activities of the related fee, not connected to public entertainment events
• Management of procedures aimed at issuing authorizations relating to the installation and operation, as well as the modification of fuel distribution systems for public and private use
• Management of public land concessions and related renewal procedures for fuel distribution plants located on public land
• Management of disputes relating to advertising and authorization measures or concessions for the occupation of public land under its jurisdiction
• Management of the removal service for advertising installations and illegal occupations of public land
• Recognition and mapping of the different types of public land occupation in existence in the city area and the related regulatory provisions of individual cases, also with a view to identifying areas of interconnection with other organizational structures to be developed / made more efficient
• Coordination and development of re-engineering activities of the current processes for granting the occupation of public land
