FUNERAL AND CEMETERY SERVICES AREA

• Development of plans for the programming of funeral-cemetery activities
• Collection of data relating to burials and cremations also in relation to the updating of cemetery plans
• Management of municipal funeral and cemetery services and issuing of related authorizations for cemetery operations carried out by third parties
• Reception of death reports, drafting of death certificates in the Civil Registry for deaths in homes and issuing of burial permits
• Management and care of city cemeteries, in line with their operating needs and with a view to their valorization
• Management of the Crematorium Center and the Cremation Service
• Management of the Civic Morgue and mortuary activities

MUNICIPALITY AREA

• Support to the Municipality Observatory, in its function of supervising the process of implementing administrative decentralization, in identifying the functions to be implemented for the implementation of the municipal decentralization model set out in the Municipal Statute and in the Municipal Regulations and in the formulation of proposals for the resolution of the interpretative and application difficulties encountered
• Support to the Permanent Conference of Municipality Presidents on planning and programming areas in order to guarantee the connection between the central administrative level and the municipal administrative level
• Study and design of the lines of implementation and further development of the municipal decentralization model, also through the analysis and comparison with the national/international territorial realities which see the implementation of the decentralization model in the Municipalities
• Development, in collaboration with the Director of the Civic and Municipal Services Directorate and the competent central organizational structures of the Institution, of the management, administrative, organizational and operational tools necessary for the development of the municipal decentralization model set out in the Municipal Statute and in the Municipal Regulations , according to the mandate programmatic lines and short, medium and long-term objectives, with a guarantee of uniformity and homogenization between the central and municipal administrative levels
• Support to the Director of the Civic and Municipal Services Directorate in the promotion and coordination of the system of relations between the Municipalities and the central organizational structures of the Authority, functional to the development of the municipal decentralization model set out in the Municipal Statute and in the Municipal Regulations
• Management of administrative activities to support the initiatives, Services and Territorial Centers assigned to the Municipalities
• Support to Municipalities in monitoring the related operational processes
• Support for the provision of solidarity contributions and the related procedures, in conjunction with the central organizational structures of the Institution
• Promotion of citizen participation processes in the "life of the Municipalities" in conjunction with the Specialist Directorate of the Plan Management and Monitoring Authority
• Management of the applications of the municipal decentralization structures, in collaboration with the IT technical support unit of the Civic and Municipal Services Directorate
• Development, in agreement with the other competent organizational structures, of IT tools suitable to support the information and IT needs connected to the development of the Municipalities; in coordination with the IT technical support unit of the Civic and Municipal Services Directorate
• Communicative-relational activities connected to the Web editorial system, in conjunction with the individual municipalities and the competent organizational structures
• Management of staff / transversal activities aimed at the effective and efficient functioning of the Municipal Areas, also in conjunction with the competent organizational structures of the Management

• Release of technical and legitimacy opinions on the resolution proposals of the Municipal Councils and Executives

• Support and assistance to the activities of the political bodies of the Municipalities for the development of guidelines for programming/planning at central level, in relation to the organizational structures involved and in line with the identified needs
• Development of listening activities in the reference area aimed at identifying needs and identifying intervention priorities
• Management of activities, services and territorial centres, attributed to the municipalities
• Implementation of administrative, technical, organizational and operational activities aimed at developing the network of territorial services, also in conjunction with the central municipal structures involved
• Implementation of activities aimed at the participation of citizens and local communities in the life of the neighbourhoods, according to the planning of the Council and the Municipal Council
• Monitoring of the territory according to the needs of the neighborhoods, for the activation of the necessary urgent interventions and the development, by the Municipal Council, of the priority actions to be submitted to the central administrative level
• Control of the quality of services offered by the Administration in the municipal territory
• Management of procedures for the concession of municipal offices and spaces
• Management of activities, in collaboration with the municipal departments involved, to encourage the decentralization of services to citizens at municipal level, in line with the programmatic mandate lines and short, medium and long-term objectives
• Survey of housing needs in collaboration with the municipal departments involved
• Planning and management of ordinary maintenance interventions on municipal public green areas, with the coordination of the management responsible for managing the global service contract
• Planning at municipal level, in coordination with the competent management, of extraordinary maintenance interventions on public green areas, in line with the guidelines expressed by the councils and councils of the municipalities and on the basis of the budgets previously identified by the competent municipal management
• Preparatory activities for the planning and programming at municipal level of extraordinary maintenance interventions on school buildings, in line with the guidelines of the Municipal Councils and in conjunction with the competent municipal departments
