MAYOR'S CABINET AREA AND RELATIONS WITH PARTICIPATORY BODIES

  • Support to the organisation's top management bodies:

- in defining corporate governance rules and strategic projects
- in the definition of guidelines to be assigned to the Participated Bodies, in relation to the type of body and the "level" of participation held by the Municipality of Milan, also in matters of transparency and legality of the administrative action carried out by the Participated Bodies

  • Management of obligations related to the exercise by the Mayor or his delegate of the rights exercisable as a member
  • Analysis, in coordination and with the support of the Budget and Subsidiary Management, of the planning and programming documents (industrial plans, budgets, etc.) of the investee companies/entities, in relation to the type of company and the "level" of participation held by the the municipality of Milan
  • Technical-legal support to the Mayor and the Chief of Cabinet for the nomination and designation of the representatives of the Municipality of Milan in the bodies and management of the consequent obligations
  • Preparation of documents for the participation of the Mayor or his delegate in assemblies, meetings, program agreements of various bodies, with the exception of those managed directly by the Budget and Subsidiary Management
  • Collaboration with the Budget and Subsidiaries Department and the General Management in providing support to the relevant Departments in the obligations relating to the establishment, membership and association of the Municipality of Milan in various companies and bodies
  • Operational and organizational support to the Guarantors established by the City Council and appointed by the Mayor, to the delegates and appointees appointed by the Mayor and to the Committees established by the Mayor, for the management of meetings, gatherings and working groups internal and external to the Institution, taking care of the documentation of the activities, as well as relations with the Departments and Directorates involved by area of ​​competence

  • Management of technical-legal activities and/or support to other municipal departments for the establishment of committees or advisory commissions by the Mayor or Council
  • Administrative management, on behalf of the Mayor and the Chief of Cabinet, of the procedures for the assignment of scholarships for the Ambrosoli Prize and the Giovanni Marra Prize and operational support for the examining commissions
  • Management of the technical-legal activity of conferring professional tasks and consultancy assigned by the Mayor and the Managers of the Mayor's Cabinet

  • Auditing with the function of verifying the existence and adequacy of the control systems of the entire procedural process and the traceability of the relevant phases of the individual procedures, aimed at ensuring compliance with the correctness, adequacy and legitimacy of the processes and procedures adopted by the Administration , the application and implementation of the Operational Models envisaged in the Three-Year Plan for Corruption Prevention and Transparency or PIAO section as well as compliance with the provisions aimed at combating corruption phenomena
  • Support and consultancy to the General Management and to the other Departments/organizational structures of the Institution for the purpose of optimizing the internal control system and regarding the correctness, adequacy and legitimacy of the procedures
  • Assessment of risks connected to inadequacies or problems both internal to the system (operating procedures, human resources, etc.) and external (exogenous factors), in order to define the organization's risks in the different risk areas
  • Coordination and implementation of auditing activities, consistently with the organisation's current internal control system

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AREA

  • Strengthening the city's international positioning:

- Managing relations with cities, city networks, institutions and international bodies
- Ensuring the strategic direction and management of international partnerships
- Managing relations with European bodies and the strategic positioning of the city in the European context
- Organizing in Italy and abroad - in collaboration with the Embassies, Italian Consulates abroad and other international institutions - missions, meetings, events, conferences, international projects, etc.
- Managing appropriate institutional relationships with the Italian Government, the Ministries responsible for each individual matter, foreign institutions and foundations in Italy, foreign Governments, Public Administrations, regional Associations and Organizations
- Managing relations with the Consular Corps of Milan

COMMUNICATION AREA

  • Definition of the organisation's overall communication strategy, internal and external, in line with the Mayor's programmatic guidelines approved by the City Council
  • Supervision and management of activities, projects and tools relating to internal communication, in collaboration with the General Management
  • Supervision of the institution's system of distinctive signs, with particular reference to the application of visual identity to traditional and digital media
  • Mapping and analysis of the organisation's information needs
  • Budget planning for communication on traditional, social, digital, television and radio paid media and channels.
  • Preparation of media plans for communication activities to be carried out via paid media and channels managed by the Area, including social media, Web Radio and Web TV
