The Price List of the Municipality of Milan lists the "works", and the relative price, for the execution of public works and is therefore the tool used by designers, at the time of drafting the project, for the economic estimate of the public works necessary for the satisfaction of the needs and services of the city of Milan.
It is also used as a reference for the liquidation of the works carried out.
It is also used by other bodies and private individuals, as an economic reference, for the planning of works even if they are not strictly municipal competence. 

The Price List is drawn up in compliance with legislation on safety in the workplace. In fact, the prices in the Price List highlight the cost value of the safety indicated in a column next to the price of the processing.

It follows that the overall price of a "completed work" job is given by the sum of the values ​​indicated in the Price List.

The Price List includes approximately 40.000 items divided into price items for completed works, price items for the supply of materials, labor and various rentals of equipment used in the execution of construction, plant, road and street furniture works, whose cost values ​​are updated in compliance with the indications dictated by the current Regulation implementing the Legislative Decree. n. 163/06 and subsequent amendments, and is structured in n. 4 volumes in addition to a fifth volume called "Technical Specifications" which describes the particular requirements, additional to the technical regulations in force, requested by the Municipal Administration to allow the best implementation of the works in compliance with environmental needs.

The 2016 Price List will be effective from 1 January 2016 and ceases to be valid on 31 December 2016. It may be temporarily used until 30 June 2017 for tender-based projects whose approval has been received by that date.

This edition of the 2016 Price List is also developed, in its technical and administrative updating activities, in implementation of the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard as per Quality Certificate no. 12800 issued by the "Certiquality" Certification Institute

The 2016 Price List,  as with previous versions, is not for sale but can be downloaded for free in PDF format and in a computerized version through standard exchange files (HTML and XML) which allows it to be used with applications normally in use, in the "section attachments" on this page. 

Note: For computerized versions, it is specified that the Municipality of Milan will not be responsible for any changes that users may make in whole or in part to the Price List and Technical Specifications. However, in the event of disputes, the contents of the paper copy attached to the Executive Decision approving the Price List kept in the archives of the Central Technical Directorate - Public Works Planning Service and Technical Secretariat - Price List Office of the Municipality of Milan will be valid

With Management Resolution no. 64/2016 of 8/08/2016 the "Price List 2016 - Update" was approved. 
In this Edition the incidence of general expenses has been updated to 13,5% to be able to compensate for all aspects relating to safety with the exclusion of what is specifically provided for in the Project Safety Plans.
