The Price List of the Municipality of Milan lists the "works", and the relative price, for the execution of public works and is therefore the tool used by designers, at the time of drafting the project, for the economic estimate of the public works necessary for the satisfaction of the needs and services of the city of Milan.
It is also used as a reference for the liquidation of the works carried out.
It is also used by private individuals, as an economic reference, for the planning of works even if they are not strictly the responsibility of the municipality.

The Price List is drawn up in compliance with legislation on safety in the workplace. In fact, the prices in the Price List highlight the cost value of the safety indicated in a column next to the price of the processing.
It follows that the overall price of a "completed work" job is given by the sum of the values ​​indicated in the Price List.

The Price List lists approximately 40.000 price items for completed works, supply of materials, unit costs of labor and various rentals of equipment used in the execution of construction, plant, road and street furniture works, and is structured in n. 4 volumes in addition to a fifth volume called "Technical Specifications" which describes the particular requirements, additional to the technical regulations in force, requested by the Municipal Administration to allow the best implementation of the works in compliance with environmental needs.
The latter have not undergone changes, except in some individual paragraphs as indicated in the introduction to the 2007 Price List and 2008 Price List

The 2008 Price List has been in force since 1 July 2008 and is continuously updated in compliance with regulatory requirements. This edition of the 2008 Price List applies to the preliminary projects covered by the Three-Year Public Works Plan 2009 - 2011. The subsequent project phases (definitive and executive) are estimated with the same price list.
