Transparency Day - 7 July 2021

On 7 July 2021, the Municipality of Milan organized a day dedicated to promoting and raising awareness on the issues of Transparency.

The event took place via streaming and addressed two specific focuses:

  • The declaration of the beneficial owner: important lever for the fight against money laundering, corruption and for the transparency of the Administration's negotiating activity;
  •  The evaluation of the public administration through transparency: the accountability of the results and the rating of efficiency and integrity.

The two Round Tables were coordinated by the General Secretary and Anti-Corruption and Transparency Manager of the Municipality of Milan, Dr. Fabrizio Dall'Acqua.

In addition to the Councilor for Participation, Active Citizenship and Open Data of the Municipality of Milan, Lorenzo Lipparini, the following speakers were involved:

  • Paola Caporossi, Founder and director of the Etica Foundation;
  • Jole Savini, President Transparency International;
  • Dario Manuli, CRM Area Director of the Municipality of Milan;
  • Roberto Montà, President of Public Notice;
  • Carmen Manfredda, President of the Anti-Mafia Committee of the Municipality of Milan - former Deputy General of the Milan Prosecutor's Office;
  • Mauro Renna, Full Professor of the Catholic University Department of Legal Sciences and member of the Anti-Mafia Committee of the Municipality of Milan;
  • Gianluca Varraso, Full Professor of the Catholic University Department of Legal Sciences and member of the Anti-Mafia Committee of the Municipality of Milan;
  • Monica Mori, Director of the Collection and Collection Department of the Municipality of Milan;
  • Greta Nasi, Associate Professor Department of Social and Political Sciences, Bocconi University;
  • Roberto Invernizzi, President of the ANCI Lombardy Legality Department.
