Fees received by the Municipality of Milan for leases and concessions for the use of spaces and premises under the responsibility of the Municipalities
The management activity carried out by the Municipal Areas takes the form of:
- concessions for the use of school premises and multi-purpose spaces to sporting, cultural, recreational associations, etc. which mainly carry out course activities aimed at children, teenagers and adults; this type of use is characterized by its short duration, which can even be limited to a few hours; the related fee is partly represented by the reimbursement of some expenses and can be defined overall only at the end of use in relation to the number of hours used;
- concessions in use of vegetable plots, sports facilities and various spaces to certain parties who use them for the entire duration of the concession contract;
- in very limited cases the space management activity takes the form of rental or rental contracts.
