The Municipality of Milan organized a conference on 17 February on the theme "Enhancement, data security and privacy protection in urban digital ecosystems", at the Conference Room of Palazzo Reale - Piazza Duomo 14.

The event, organized in collaboration with the University of Florence and with the patronage of the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, created an opportunity for meeting and reflection between the main stakeholders involved in the development of Smart cities, with the The essential presence of the authorities and agencies involved in the regulation of these very delicate areas.

The conference was divided into two sessions:

Morning session - from 9.45 to 12.45:

•  Panel I “Rights and ethics"
•  Panel II “Cybersecurity and responsibility"

Afternoon session, from 14.15pm to 17.30pm:

• Panel III “Data valorisation"
• round table entitled "Potential and limits of the development of the Milanese digital ecosystem".
