The park in brief

Located next to the Naviglio Grande, the Baden-Powell, dedicated to the founder of scouting, is a very popular park created from a successful redevelopment project.
The land has an undulating layout, with lawns and groups of trees, and is crossed by pedestrian and cycle paths with ups and downs that lead to steps on one side and to a pergola on the other. The lawns are shaded by trees such as cedar, maple, red oak and cluster cherry.

The flooring is colored asphalt and stone; the park is periodically monitored by the GEV, the Volunteer Ecological Guards.

It is a park that makes multiple activities possible, enriched by a system of sinuous pedestrian paths and stairways to overcome the uneven terrain and a long path covered by a pergola.

The lawn land has an undulating shape and in the central part, where it reaches the lowest level, a flight of steps has been built which serves as a connection between the residential area and the public greenery.

The park project is part of a complex redevelopment project in the Navigli area.
