The park in brief

The "Oreste del Buono" Garden, today characterized by tree-lined paths and leisure areas, stands on an area once occupied by the Motta and ATM factories; as evidence of this industrial past, an old warehouse has been preserved and restored, today used as a museum for exhibitions.
In the center of the park there is a characteristic snake-shaped sculpture that recalls the snake symbol of Milan; at its ends two large structures: one 6 meters high, covered in colored mosaic and the other covered in stone, on which it is possible to climb.

The paths are made of macadam and the small squares are paved with stone cubes.

The creation of the park took place following the completion of the construction of a complex of residential buildings, a shopping center and a multi-storey car park on the area that was occupied by the Motta factories and an ATM depot, between Viale Campania and Via Zanella. , via Terenzio and viale Corsica.

It develops into two distinct parts, divided by Via Terenzio.

The physical and symbolic element that connects them is represented by a raised "snake-sculpture" approximately 300 meters long and up to 3 meters high that crosses the entire park and is intended to recall the heraldic snake of Milan. At its ends there are two heads, one 6 meters high, covered in colored mosaic and the other, a large play sculpture covered in stone, on which it is possible to climb, which completes the equipment of the play area.
