The park in brief

The park, designed for sport and relaxation, consists of two areas. The northernmost part has bowling greens and is equipped as a children's play area, while the southern one, with its long avenues, is suitable for walking and running. Among the trees, the red maple, the flowering apple, the cherry, the mulberry, the catalpa and the red oak should be mentioned for the beauty of their shapes and colours.

The park is made up of two parts: the northernmost portion is the one best equipped with children's games and bowling greens; the other part consists of a strip approximately 500 meters long and 100 meters wide with a large lawn on undulating terrain.

Various sinuous paths cross the space which is interspersed with groups of trees, flowering bushes and flowerbeds.

In the same area, near the Bisceglie stop of the underground line (M1), a new project will lead to the creation of the Blue Park, over an area of over 50.000 mXNUMX.

Main tree species

  • Norway maple (Acer platanoides)
  • red maple (Acer rubrum)
  • catalpa (Catalpa bignonioides)
  • cherry (Prunus avium)
  • flowering apple tree (Malus floribunda)
