The park in brief

The park is dedicated to Maria Peron and Sister Giovanna Mosna, partisans, respectively nurse and head nurse at the Niguarda Hospital, where they cared for and helped the escape of politically persecuted and Jews. Among the plants present are the horse chestnut, the ash, the magnolia, the imperial pauwlonia. Worth mentioning are the black mulberry, with its fleshy berries used for Sicilian granita and the majestic Himalayan cedar, known as the tree of the gods, native to the Himalayas and then spread to Afghanistan and Pakistan before arriving in Europe in 1800 and being used as an ornamental tree. The flooring is in natural stone and limestone.
