The preparation of the Municipality of Milan for the 2023 edition of 'Maggio in Fiore' respects the fundamental themes set by the Municipality of Cervia: sustainable development, as it is based on the use of plants and materials of proven naturalistic tradition; the climate, as it aims to adapt to the changes taking place at both a global and local level, using mostly rustic species capable of tolerating even extreme phenomena; peace, as it is rich in colors and shapes which, extended on a larger scale than gardening, aim to reach a higher ethical level of harmonious coexistence between human beings; the future, as - through the use of perennial species, they guarantee renewal over time.
A cheerful mix of species differing in colour, shape, habit, height, duration of flowering during the summer season: this would be the contribution that the Municipality of Milan offers to the friends of Cervia and to all those who choose it to spend happy holidays.
