Yellow in the evening

The newspaper Evening Yellow it is a group educational and socialization activity of the Day Centers for the Disabled and has as its objective the personal autonomy and social inclusion of our guests.

The newspaper, born in 1985 from a laboratory idea of ​​an educator from the Disabled Day Center in via Cherasco, then a Territorial Rehabilitation Centre, has extended its editorial staff to other municipal and affiliated centers since 1986.

The initial version, made with the mimeograph machine directly by the guests, involved the production of 4 issues a year for around 5000 copies of which around 500 were sent throughout Italy.

At the end of the 90s, the current format arrived and the headquarters of the central editorial office became the Disabled Day Center in via Barabino.

Around 2013, color printing was introduced and the issues of the newspaper became 3 per year for around 1500 copies of which around 200 were sent throughout Italy. 

Over the years, the newspaper has seen the participation of over 16 centres.

There are currently around 10 centers involved.
