Disabled aggregation centers - Cad: aims and objectives

The service is aimed at citizens resident in the Municipality of Milan with a disability percentage equal to or greater than 46%.

The recipients are, as a priority, adults with disabilities who:

  • they have no other opportunities for socialization;
  • are included within daytime services;
  • upon notification from local services, they require integration into their social fabric of reference through individualized paths.

The objectives of the Cad are:

  • offer socialization opportunities in protected contexts that guarantee an improvement in the quality of life of the person with disabilities;
  • promote autonomy, free choice and implementation in the self-organization of one's time in the territory to which one belongs;
  • monitor the well-being of the person, limiting, through daily interventions, any situations of aggravation and/or risk of frail conditions;
  • orient the person both with respect to the resources of the territory and with respect to his life plan;
  • temporarily support crisis situations while waiting for their resolution or develop accompaniment paths to more adequate services.

Families are required to pay living expenses for the activities.
