Consult cemetery services documents
It is possible, also for study or research purposes, to view or obtain the release of a simple copy or a copy conforming to the original of the deeds and documents in the possession of the Funeral and Cemetery Services Area preserved in the Archives of via Larga, 12 .
The requesting person (entitled or, for ninety-nine-year burials, the contact person of the heirs) must submit to the Directorate of the Funeral and Cemetery Services Area a reasoned and signed application on plain paper indicating the requested documents and their intended use , drawn up on a specially prepared form.
The vision is Delivery to Italy takes one or two business days but the requesting person must bear the costs of research and those for issuing copies.
For the documents present in the archives of the cemeteries, with the exception of the Monumental cemetery whose archive is closed to the public, the requesting person must forward to the person in charge of the cemetery being researched a request, also via e-mail, motivated and signed on plain paper, indicating the documents you are interested in.
They are forbidden the viewing and delivery of copies of documents:
- secrets;
- reserved;
- expressly excluded from access;
- for which the requesting person does not demonstrate a specific interest.
