The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with their peers and educators.
In the section there is a space dedicated to resting for girls and boys, a space for lunch and adjacent toilets. The educators, in preparing these spaces and these moments, guarantee an organization of the educational day that is careful to encourage the child's actions and self-care, in the constant presence and accompaniment of the adult.
In addition to the Section, girls and boys access various educational experiences in the common spaces of the School (the motor room, the library/reading space, the porch and the courtyard) to experiment with different languages and learning contexts.
For our Spring Section we have a small space dedicated to painting and manipulation; there is also a library, a motor space and a corridor equipped with tricycles and macro-constructions.
Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard or the school garden, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it. Girls and boys can use an external porch overlooking the courtyard of the Bacone Primary School, which is also used at agreed times.
